CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

If you have a high temperature or new persistent cough you should stay at home (self isolate) for 7 days if you live alone or 14 days if you live with others.  All household members must also stay at home for 14 days even if they do not have symptoms.

DO NOT ATTEND THE GP SURGERY / PHARMACY / HOSPITAL

IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY UNWELL OR SHORT OF BREATH IN NEED OF URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION CALL 999

You do not need to contact the surgery or NHS 111 to inform anyone you are staying at home and all necessary information is available online.

If you need clarification regards symptoms or initial advice consult the NHS 111 Online tool

You should only contact NHS 111 by telephone if

  • You feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
  • Your condition gets worse
  • Your symptoms do not get better after 7 days
  • You do not have access to the internet

    Coronavirus Update - Inhaler and Rescue Pack Requests & Advice for Asthmatics

    If you have not needed inhalers or 'Rescue' packs in the last 12-24 months please do not request one 'just in case'. Should you develop symptoms we are available on the phones for advice and it is important we ensure there is adequate provision of these medications for when they are actually needed.     Coronavirus Update - Appointments Changes

    As of Monday 16 March 2020 all previously booked appointments planned for face to face consultation will instead take place by phone. Going forward all future requests for appointment will initially be handled by telephone. This is to ensure the practice is doing everything to manage individual patient risk and facilitating full compliance with UK government advice.
